The wild mother was a maternal aspect of Salqua who embodied natural life cycles and ecosystems. The Wild Mother watched over the living, and acted to ensure they die when the right time came - not before, and certainly not after; she vehemently opposed undeath as an unconditionally unnatural phenomenon.
